Turn a news item into a revision note
The August 2026 public sample includes Andhra Pradesh policy, irrigation, mineral resources, industry and digital infrastructure. Use these topics to practise connecting a current event with the underlying concept.
- Identify the event: What changed, and which place, institution or policy is involved?
- Connect the background: Link a project to geography, a scheme to its purpose, or an industry to its raw materials.
- Test recall: Close the note and write three questions about the topic. Check your answers before moving on.
- Revise selectively: Keep a short list of facts you missed and return to it each week.
Try this with an irrigation topic: Make five headings: project, source river, location, purpose and related geography. Fill them from the sample, then check whether you can recall the connections without looking. This is a suggested study exercise, not a prediction of exam questions.
